Applicants should possess good communication skills, be willing to work as a team, and have a good work ethic.Operators should be able to operate a variety of heavy equipment with safety and precision, such as bulldozers, skid loaders, back hoes, and excavators, as well as day-to-day preventive maintenance on all equipment. Laborers are expected to be able to work in an environment that supports the needs of the operators and job sites demanding heavy equipment. Operators and Laborers are expected to have a basic knowledge of equipment and tools, understand the set up and tear down process of equipment on a job site, and be able to perform physically demanding work.
Experience is desired, but Gehrke Inc. is willing to train the right individual possessing the attributes that meet the needs of our company and its customers. A valid drivers license and pre-employment drug screening are required.
Gehrke Inc. offers a competitive wage and benefit package. Company transportation to the job site is provided and employees are paid wages for travel time in one direction.
